Party ship ‘Amalia’ from Alkmaar Cruises is 600 meters from the Cheese Market, ready for a typical Dutch cruise of 90 minutes. When boarding you will be welcomed with a Dutch piece of apple pie with whipped cream and a cup of coffee or tea.
We sail across the North Holland Canal towards the Alkmaardermeer where you have a view of the typical polder landscape. During the cruise you can play various old Dutch games such as shuffleboard, nail pooping, cookie eating, can toss, don’t annoy people, 4 in a row, donkey poke, mikado, checkers, ring toss, etc, etc! You can of course also sit quietly on the sun deck and look out over the polder or order an eggnog or another drink of your choice at the bar.
Between the games, our sailor walks around with the Dutch snack board filled with cheese & sausage while old-fashioned Dutch music is played in the background.

Cancellation policy for bookings of up to 10 people.
The customer can cancel the booking in writing or verbally.
The customer can only book a combination of packages or cancel a package as a whole and not each part separately.
If the booking is canceled more than 2 weeks before the start of the trip, the customer will receive a refund of the invoice amount, with the exception of booking costs.
If the booking is made less than 2 weeks before the start of the trip and the departure is canceled, the customer will not receive a refund.
Cancellation policy for bookings of 11 people or more.
The customer can cancel the booking in writing or verbally.
The customer can only book a combination of packages or cancel a package as a whole and not each part separately.
If the booking is canceled at least 2 weeks before the start of the trip, the customer will receive the invoice amount back or a credit note. Booking fees are non-refundable. If the booking is canceled 7-14 days before the start of the trip, the customer will receive 50% of the invoice amount back or a credit note.
If the booking is canceled less than 7 days before the start of the trip, the customer will not receive a refund.
Cancellation by Alkmaar Cruises
The customer will receive a 100% refund or credit if canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
